Devotional Reading
God’s grand plan to save a people for Himself has always been a multi-ethnic plan. Saving people from the east country and from the west; calling wise men to worship their savior.
He draws His people to Himself from all ends of the Earth. The flock of Israel is a diverse arrangement of sheep, all being shepherded by their ruler, Jesus.
Jesus’ rule is so encompassing that all kings everywhere must bow their knee to Him.
The wise men offer to Jesus their allegiance and obeyed the Spirits prompting, defying Herod. Though Herod sought to destroy his assumed threat and rival heir, nothing could stop the plan that God had in store for Jesus.
