As Simeon held the light of the nations in his arms, he foretold of the fall of all who would reject the great light. The rising of Israel that came after God's judgment, would reunite the tribes of Jacob and bring back the preserved Israel. Uniting not only Israel but all the nations. Creating peace between man and God.
Jesus is called the Light of the world (John 8:12) and He would restore what was broken, redeem what was lost, and unite what was divided.
